Chris is the Entrepreneurship Facilitator appointed to service the Sydney - South West (Campbelltown) region - an initiative of the Australian Government.
Chris considers himself one of Australia's most experienced and trusted business specialists with a strong international trade and business development background.
Chris has advanced senior executive expertise in strategy formulation, business transformation, business development, strategic marketing, communications and sales in a diverse range of industries across multiple geographies and cultures. He has managed large and mid-sized businesses and multiple product portfolios, and has achieved turn-around performance through effective leadership and coaching. Senior executive experience includes eight years as Director (Deputy Chair) at Australian Marketing Institute and three years as Managing Director of six SME businesses operating in seven countries, based in the Campbelltown district. Chris was appointed to the executive level in BlueScope Steel where he had responsibility for Strategy within a $3.2bn division.
Chris has also served as Country Manager for BHP in PNG and the Philippines and been State Manager in Victoria, Western Australia and NSW. He has developed and led a BHP multi-faceted sales training program for 400 participants.
As a lecturer at University of Wollongong at undergraduate and Masters level, Chris has substantial public speaking experience. He is an active mentor and coach to both junior and senior business connections, and is an accredited trainer for Silver & Wise. Chris has been an International Stevie Awards judge.
